Visiting Cavendish in the fall is so fun as there are a few things which only happen during this time the year!

The maples are turning red and orange, there is a hint of crispness in the air, and you can start getting cozy around the fire pit and hot tubs in the evening! Also, Cavendish tends to be quieter at this time of year so you don’t have to worry about long restaurant lineups and crowded beaches.

Attend Food Festivals & Events

If you are in PEI this fall, you will not want to miss Fall Flavours! This food & drink festival celebrates the talent of local chefs and food producers from September 26th to October 12th, 2024! We are especially excited for the River Clyde Harvest Brunch at the PEI Preserve Company! Tickets for Fall Flavours events sell fast, so get your tickets now! Spend a day shopping for locally made products and produce by driving into Charlottetown for the annual Farm Day in the City!

Cavendish will be buzzing with food, music, and drink this fall at the Sommo Festival on September 13 & 14th, 2024! There will be incredible artists on stage including Mumford & Sons, Maggie Rogers, Lord Huron, and Vance Joy!

The Shellfish Festival is happening from September 19th to 22nd, 2024! This four-day festival is packed with celebrity chefs, food demos, oyster shucking competitions, and so much delicious dining!
