Forest & Nature Therapy Wellness Walk
A forest walk is simply slowing down in nature. Your certified forest and nature therapy guide, Cindy MacPherson, will offer you a chance to connect with nature, yourself, and one another through the senses. The walk takes about two hours but does not cover a great distance. It is about noticing and moving slowly, remembering that we are in nature. Because we are moving slowly all fitness levels can participate. In forest therapy we like to say the forest is the therapist and our job as guides is to open the doors for reconnection. We trust that nature will provide what each of us needs at the moment. After the walk, tea made with local ingredients will be provided to participants.
