Join us for an immersive traditional experiential Acadian meal in the 250-year-old Doucet Log House kitchen and learn about their culture. With recipes passed down through the generations, in cast iron cookware, you will learn how to prepare the meal in the sandstone open hearth fireplace and outdoor bread oven. Pick vegetables and herbs from the heritage gardens, make your own butter, Bannock, Chicken Fricot, and ice cream, to enjoy with mussels, Rapure, Rustico Meat Pie and dessert. Take home a souvenir recipe book (one per couple) as a memento of your time with us.
