The Best of Sea is back for the month of June and we are excited to be a part of it!

While you stay in Cavendish Beach or as you are passing through, take your taste buds on a tour around Cavendish Beach with the following restaurants – each course infused with fresh local seafood.

 

Blue Mussel Cafe

Chef Jamie Power, of Blue Mussel Cafe, has created a stellar menu including The Appsolute Seafood Starter and The Ultimate Seafood Fusion. The app includes smoked PEI Crab and PEI Halibut Cakes is just a teaser to the main course – which features prosciutto wrapped PEI Halibut.

 

Chez Yvonne’s Restaurant

Chez Yvonne’s Kitchen is heating up with two Best of Sea courses – including The First Wave Appetizer, PEI Lobster stuffed with a PEI Potato Mixture and fried in pretzel bread crumbs with a lobster newburg sauce. As if that doesn’t sound delicious enough, they are also serving Coquilles St. Jacques With Lobster, PEI Scallops and PEI Lobster dish.

Dockside Waterfront Restaurant

 

Don’t let the Appetizers name fool you, The Little Bay, packs a BIG punch with your taste buds. With two freshly shucked PEI oysters and a hint of jalepeno – you will be wanting more! The Pier’s Seafood Supreme (the main course) is PEI lobster, PEI Scallops, Shrimp, Haddock and PEI Rock Crab.

 

The Pearl Eatery and Oyster Lounge

“He’s Just a Po’Boy” that leaves you with a “rich” PEI Seafood taste! The appetizer at The Pearl Eatery and Oyster Lounge is packed with Cornmeal-Crusted PEI Oysters, PEI mussel and so much flavour! It will lead you into the ‘Goin’ Back to Hali’, Apple-Cured, Pan Seared Halibut, PEI Crab, PEI Lobster Sauce and More!

 

 

Dalvay By The Sea

There are more Best of Sea Dishes all around Cavendish Beach, including Dalvay by the Sea, which is serving an Umami Bomb – PEI Rock Crab and PEI Lobster Okonomiyaki as an appetizer. Their Main Dish, labeled The Chiang Mai Surprise, is Pan Seared Halibut with a kick!

 

Sou’West Bar and Grill

At Sou’West you will start with a Snow Crab Arancini – created with PEI Snow Crab and gouda. You’re taste buds will be jumping for joy as it is encased in seasoned Arborio rice. Next, you will enjoy the Sou’West Mussel and Oyster Lasagna – layers of lasagna noodles filled with PEI Mussels, Oysters and more!
