Leon Gallant And Friends will be back at the Stanley Bridge Hall telling songs and stories ‘Between the Jigs and the Reels’ of Prince Edward Island.Tuesdays and Fridays – 7:30, July 3rd- October 9th. Hailing from a fishing family and growing up on the fishing warf Leon Gallant heard many local stories and grew to love the art of storytelling from his father Tommy, the gentle and ‘Faithful Fisherman’. Leon will tell his stories through original music and feature some other powerful stories composed by friends and local legends. Leon will be accompanied by his band of multi-talented musicians: Chris Gauthier with a classic country telecaster guitar, Brendon ‘Spoon Man’ Peters, Olivia Blacquiere on piano and traditional island influenced stepdancing. Leon Gallant and Friends is a MUST- SEE for locals and visitors looking for a toe tapping time with comical stories, a dose of Island Culture and outstanding music.Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 & under.
