River Clyde Pageant
Established in 2016, this outdoor performance spectacle is created and performed each summer by artists and community members across Prince Edward Island – the district of Epekwitk in Mi’kma’ki – and beyond. The Pageant features many striking elements, from giant puppets to stilt walkers to illuminated lanterns and outdoor sets. It is performed by actors, musicians, dancers, puppeteers, storytellers and stiltwalkers of all ages.
The River Clyde Pageant is performed on the last weekend of July and the first weekend of August every summer in New Glasgow, PEI. Weekend performances conclude with a free community meal for audiences and performers overlooking the River Clyde.
