Montgomery’s Cavendish Legacy Tour – Bus Tour

Montgomery’s Cavendish Legacy Tour
Presented by Denise of Ingleside Tours

Step beyond the pages of Anne of Green Gables and immerse yourself in the landscapes, stories, and inspirations that shaped one of Canada’s most beloved authors.

This full-day guided bus tour invites you to discover the people, places, and experiences that inspired L.M. Montgomery’s writing. Journey through the red roads, rolling shores, historic homesteads, and cherished landmarks that influenced her imagination and brought her unforgettable stories to life. Along the way, you’ll visit significant sites connected to Montgomery’s life, including her birthplace, the Anne of Green Gables Museum, her final resting place, Green Gables Heritage Place, the Site of her Cavendish Home, and many of the locations that inspired iconic settings such as the Lake of Shining Waters, Lover’s Lane, the Haunted Wood, and more.

Your guide for the day is Denise Bruce, artist, writer, and one of Prince Edward Island’s foremost L.M. Montgomery historians.
