Join Liverpool-based author Stephens Gerard Malone for a compelling conversation about The Unnameable, an unflinching coming-of-age novel set against the backdrop of a rapidly changing Canada.
Drawing on the atmosphere of 1960s Ottawa and his own experiences growing up on CFB Rockcliffe, Malone explores the story of two teenage boys who embark on a clandestine relationship in an exploration of masculinity and sexuality, shame and secrets, during the turbulent years between Expo 67 and the 1970 October Crisis.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, meet the author, and have books signed.
