An exceptional Island experience! The Festival of Small Halls is a traditional music, dance and storytelling event held annually on Prince Edward Island. This acclaimed festival kicks off summer each June with 40-plus concerts in charming, rural, community halls from tip-to-tip across the Island. A consistent ECMA-nominee for Event of the Year, the festival highlights PEI s Scottish, Irish and Acadian heritage and features first-rate performers from PEI, Atlantic Canada and abroad. Past performers include: Richard Wood, Vishten, Ron Hynes, Catherine MacLellan, The Chaisson Family, The Once, David Weale and many more!

“The crown jewel of Island ceilidhs!” Join Cynthia MacLeod and friends Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for an evening of lively fiddle tunes, East Coast songs and stepdancing. Strawberry sundaes, refreshments available at intermission. A must-do event for every vacation!
Mon and Wed, 7:30 pm; Tues (July 10-Aug 21), 7:30pm. $10 adults, children 12 and under $5.

The Ross Family Ceilidh - Live Music/Stepdancing Show

Three young siblings fuse PEI roots music with their trademark stepdancing. This charming historic hall is located only five minutes west of Cavendish. Strawberry sundaes available! "One of the best ceilidhs this Island has to offer," Todd MacLean, The Guardian.
